UC San Diego Christini Fund Committee

The Christini Fund Committee’s objective and purpose is to support the mission of the Christini Fund at UC San Diego. The Christini Fund was established by the Shimizu family, in memory of Christine Shimizu. The Christini Fund’s mission is to raise money for research, increase public awareness of mitochondrial diseases, and inform people affected by these devastating disease about the hope that can be found at UC San Diego’s Mitochondrial and Metabolic Disease Center.
